A little late but You can read the article here
Some small Texas-based company called Anascape(SINCE AMERICA OWNS THE GAMING WORLD EVEN LOW Budget companies will sue for no reason.), which does not even have a google-searchable website, sued Nintendo due to patents they owned on analog controllers. Microsoft was also sued, but settled the matter outside of courts. As a result of the lawsuit, the Wii Wavebird and Classic Controller, along with Gamecube controllers, have been banned.
Does anyone else find this as completely idiotic as I do? Apparently Anascape owned the patent rights for an analog controller they "intended" to produce roughly three years ago but never
manufactured.
HEREis more info! Looks like Nintendo lost.
