Chipmunk

A little late but You can read the article here

Some small Texas-based company called Anascape(SINCE AMERICA OWNS THE GAMING WORLD EVEN LOW Budget companies will sue for no reason.), which does not even have a google-searchable website, sued Nintendo due to patents they owned on analog controllers. Microsoft was also sued, but settled the matter outside of courts. As a result of the lawsuit, the Wii Wavebird and Classic Controller, along with Gamecube controllers, have been banned.

Does anyone else find this as completely idiotic as I do? Apparently Anascape owned the patent rights for an analog controller they "intended" to produce roughly three years ago but never
manufactured.

HEREis more info! Looks like Nintendo lost.
Old news. Also this belongs in the Nintendo section.
By the way, I saw a Wii Classic Controller in a store last week.

Chipmunk

That means it was left over. No more are coming in.
i saw a dude at walmart puttin new ones on the shelf in new packaging dumbass so it wasnt left over
When?

Chipmunk

He did not answer which means YOU ARE WRONG. They have them left over they are shipping the rest out but soon there will be no more. Until Nintendo does the impossible.
What, you mean develop products?

-_-
... I don't get it at all.
Oh ya I heard about this.

This only applies to America though and maybe Canada too. And since the patent isn't held in Japan, you can still import controllers from japanland.
