You know what I hate? 3D Games. What the fuck. 2D was so good to us, we had no reason to want a third dimension. Also you can't possibly say that 3D games are better. If you do then I will have to hang you from a pole.

well, 3d games arnt better, but they can make a 3d game into the best game ever,

Its just that most 3D games suck and DONT have good gameplay.

3D games can be better. Like 2D games, it all depends on the gameplay and physics. There are 3D games that suck, just as there are 2D games that suck.

This topic sounds a little hypocritical to me actually...

I know a lot of 2D games with bad gameplay.
Once again, this topic has hypocrisy. Lots of it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with hypocrisy. In many cases, it's a method of survival. I don't want to kill and I don't like killing, but if someone is going to kill me, I'll kill him before he has a chance. Is it bad that I'd be a hypocrite then? How about if the person was about to kill a family member or a good friend? Would it still be bad for me to kill him to defend those who I care about?

Also, 3d games are pretty horrible. You don't have the pixel precision you get with 2d games. Not to mention it's a waste of CPU power... Why have a few bad guys onscreen in a 3d game when you could have lots onscreen in a 2d game (because theres less to draw; not to mention it's better artistically, and 3d will always have minor annoying graphics errors because consoles and computers aren't good enough yet.)?

While three dimensions doesn't allow as many enemies, it adds more AI possibilities because instead of more movement possibilities.

Either way, whether a game is 2D or 3D, what really matters is the engine of the game. Plenty of 2D games are bad, and plenty of 3D games are bad. There may be more bad 3D games, but they're harder to make than 2D games.

I think everyone in this topic can agree that Kirby Super Star was a great game and the remake coming out on the 22nd (or whatever day it is) will be great.

KSS was great when I tried it on an emulator.

It's one of the only games I'm looking forward to this fall, actually.

I would hope one of the others is Order of Ecclesia.
